Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, language settings, and network information.
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including features used, screens viewed, session duration, and crash reports.
Photos and Media: When you grant permission, we access your camera or photo library to allow you to set a profile avatar.
Advertising Identifiers: With your consent (via App Tracking Transparency on iOS), we may access your device's advertising identifier for personalized advertising.
Purchase Information: If you make in-app purchases, transaction data is processed through RevenueCat and the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play).

Advertising

Meu Mec Livros displays advertisements served by Google AdMob and may use Facebook SDK and TikTok Ads Events for advertising attribution. These services may use your advertising identifier and other data to deliver personalized or non-personalized ads.

On iOS, we use App Tracking Transparency. You will be asked for permission before any tracking occurs. If you decline, you will only see non-personalized ads.
On Android, you can opt out of personalized ads by resetting your advertising ID or enabling "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in your device settings.
If you purchase a premium/ad-free subscription, advertisements will be disabled.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers, which use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, dispute resolution).

Children's Privacy

Meu Mec Livros is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at diegoadriian6@proton.me so we can take appropriate action to delete that information.

Account Deletion

Select the Delete Account option and confirm your decision.
Alternatively, you can request account deletion by emailing us at diegoadriian6@proton.me from the email address associated with your account.

Once your account is deleted, your profile information, library data, reading history, and any content associated with your account will be permanently removed from our active systems. Some information may be retained in backups or where required by law for a limited period.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our service providers (such as Google Firebase) operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. By using the App, you consent to such transfers, which are made with appropriate safeguards in place.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
