This Privacy Policy describes how the Loterias app ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application. By using Loterias, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Loterias is intended for users aged 18 and over, as it provides lottery results and related information. The app does not allow users to purchase lottery tickets directly.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our services:

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, language, region, and time zone.
  • Usage Data: Screens viewed, features used, taps, session duration, crashes, and performance data.
  • Advertising Identifiers: IDFA (iOS) and AAID (Android) for personalized advertising, subject to your consent.
  • Network Information: Network connectivity status and basic network type (Wi-Fi/cellular) to ensure the app works offline-first.
  • Push Notification Tokens: A Firebase Cloud Messaging token used to deliver lottery result updates and announcements.
  • Purchase Information: If you purchase a premium subscription, we receive transaction metadata (but not your payment card details) via RevenueCat and the app store.
  • Crash and Diagnostic Data: Stack traces and device state collected when the app crashes to help us fix bugs.
  • Saved Preferences: Lottery games you follow, favorite numbers, theme, and language preferences are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, government IDs, banking details, or actual lottery ticket purchases.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To display lottery results, history, and related information.
  • To send you push notifications about draw results, prize updates, and app news.
  • To improve app performance, fix crashes, and develop new features.
  • To display ads (including personalized ads, where you have consented).
  • To process in-app purchases and manage premium (ad-free) subscriptions.
  • To analyze usage patterns and measure the effectiveness of our marketing.
  • To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

Permissions We Request

The app may request the following permissions on your device:

  • Tracking (iOS): We request permission to track your activity across apps and websites for the purpose of delivering personalized ads. You may decline, in which case you will see non-personalized ads.
  • Notifications: To send you lottery result updates and app announcements.
  • Photos / Media Library: Used only if you choose to save a result image or share content to your gallery. The app does not read your existing photos.
  • Advertising ID (Android): Used by Google AdMob to deliver and measure ads.
  • Network Access: Required to fetch the latest lottery results.

Advertising

Loterias displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, including banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. Ads may be personalized based on your advertising identifier and inferred interests, unless you opt out via your device settings or by declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS.

We also use the Meta (Facebook) SDK and TikTok Ads Events for ad measurement and attribution, so we (and our advertising partners) can understand which campaigns brought users to the app.

You can manage your ad preferences at any time:

  • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Loterias.
  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset / Delete advertising ID.

In-App Purchases

The app offers optional in-app purchases to remove ads (premium subscription). Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, and subscription management is handled by RevenueCat. We never receive your full credit card or banking details. Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective app store.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the third-party processors listed above to operate, secure, and improve the app. We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users or the public.

Data Retention

Analytics and crash data are retained for the period defined by Firebase (typically up to 14 months). Push tokens are kept while you have the app installed. Local data on your device (preferences, favorites) is kept until you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS in transit and access controls on cloud services, to protect your information. However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and up to date.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR for EU users and LGPD for Brazilian users), you may have the right to:

  • Access the information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent for personalized ads at any time.

Loterias is not directed to children under 18. Lottery content is intended for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Responsible Gaming Notice

This app provides lottery results and informational content only. It does not sell, broker, or enable the purchase of lottery tickets. Gambling can be addictive — please play responsibly. If you or someone you know needs help, contact a local responsible gambling support organization.

Account Deletion and Data Removal

Loterias does not require account creation. To delete all data associated with your use of the app:

  • Uninstall the app from your device — this removes all locally stored data (preferences, favorites, cached results).
  • To request deletion of any remaining server-side data (push token, analytics identifiers, crash reports), send an email to diegoadriian6@proton.me with the subject "Account Deletion Request" along with your device advertising ID or installation ID if known. We will process your request within 30 days.
  • Reset your advertising ID through your device settings to break any link between past activity and your device.

International Data Transfers

Our third-party processors (Google, Meta, Microsoft, RevenueCat, and others) may store and process data in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. By using the app, you consent to such transfers in accordance with the safeguards used by each provider.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date below indicates when this policy was last revised. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by updating the version date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
